Question2 : What causes the TPMS warning light to turn on?
Answer2 : The TPMS warning light turns on if a tire is detected to be under-inflated by 25% of more. A number of factors other than under-inflation can trigger the TPMS warning light:
• hitting a curb
• running over a pot-hole
• TPMS corrosion
• high/low external temperatures
• low or depleted TPMS battery life
• improper TPMS installation
Question3 : How long do the batteries in a TPMS sensor working for?
Answer3 : The battery life of an original equipment tire pressure monitoring sensor is estimated to last about 5-7 years. Sensor batteries do not activate until the sensor is installed and programmed to the vehicle. Assess the status of the sensor power by looking at how many miles are on the vehicle and how long you've had the vehicle. If you've got a vehicle that's over five years old and have accumulated over 100,000 miles on the original sensors, then you're probably looking at a system that will start failing in the near future. If the mileage of the vehicle is close to the 100,000 mile mark, then we recommend replacing all four sensors at once. Replacing all four at once can spare you multiple trips to the auto shop, where you'll be charged to remove the wheel from the tire, break down the tire, change the old TPMS sensor, put the tire back on the wheel, and re-mount the wheel to the vehicle. Labor costs and time add up, making it economically wiser to change all four old sensors at once.
Question4 : How Do I Keep My Tires Properly Inflated?
Answer4 : 1.Check your tire pressure at least once a month and before going on long trips. Checking your tire pressure is very simple and can be done using a device called a tire pressure gauge. If you don't have a tire pressure gauge, most gas stations have an air pump station equipped with a tire pressure gauge.
2.Since temperature affects tire pressure, it's best to check your tires when they are cold. Checking tire pressure after driving can result in inaccurate pressure readings.
3.Fill your tires according to vehicle manufacturer specifications. Recommended pressure can be found on the tire label, located on the driver door frame, sill, or edge.
4.You can find additional information about tires and maintenance by checking your vehicle owner's manual or contacting your local dealership.
Question5 : Why Does Tire Pressure Change?
Answer5 : Many factors affect tire pressure, and that is why it is so important to check your tires at least once a month and before going on long trips. Tire pressure can decrease due to tire damage, slow leaks, changes in outside temperature, and from normal, everyday driving. For example, when the weather changes your tire pressure changes too. For every drop of 10 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature, your tires lose 1 PSI. Tires also deflate naturally over time as much as 1.5 PSI per month.
Question6 : How Soon Do I Need to Fill My Tires if My TPMS Warning Light Turns on?
Answer6 : If the TPMS warning turns on, you should safely pull off the road and check your tire pressure. If possible, take your vehicle to the closest air station and fill your tires to factory specifications. Try to limit your driving as much as possible until you can find a place to pump air into your tires. Remember, the tire pressure warning light turns on if one or more of your tires are underinflated by 25% or more. Driving on underinflated tires is not only dangerous, but can increase the tread wear on your tires, and reduce your vehicle's fuel economy.

This is a simple process, you remove the OE sensor, clone it (30 seconds), install it, and your customer drives off. Question8 : What is the difference between a Cloned and a CUB Replacement Sensor?
Answer8 : Our tool allows you to make either a “Cloned” or “Replacement” Sensor using blank sensor. To make a cloned sensor, the tool wirelessly reads the OE sensor and copies the “Sensor ID Number” (which is unique in every sensor, much like a cell phone number). The tool also allows you to make a Replacement sensor by skipping the “Copy ID” process and simply loading just the program to the CUB blank sensor. Instead of copying the sensor id#, it creates a random id#.
Question9 : How simple is it to clone a OE Sensor or Create a OE Replacement Sensor?
Answer9 : In just 30 seconds you can create 1 Cloned sensor or 4 Replacement Sensors.
To make a cloned sensor, it is as easy as
1) Select Make/Model/Year
2) Select “Auto Duplicated”
3) Hold tool next to OE Sensor
4) Insert CUB sensor, press enter key
5) Done.
To make a replacement sensor, it is as easy as
1) Select Make/Model/Year
2) Select “Program Blank Sensor”
3) Insert CUB sensor, press enter key
4) When “success” shows on screen, insert next blank sensor & press enter key. Repeat for as many sensors as you want to make.

Question10 : Why do I need the TPMS tool ?
Answer10 : 1) While our “Sensor Programmer” is a tool, it is not a TPMS tool commonly used to perform Relearn.
2) Any tool you purchase (for what ever purpose), is a investment to make money. Ours is no different. It will allow you to clone OE sensors, and avoid the high labor cost of performing Relearns. This is not an expensive purchase, and typically the savings it provides re-pays your investment in less than a month.
Question11 : What if the OE Sensor is damaged or the battery is dead?
Answer11 : This is where our system is unique, it is no problem. All OE Sensors have their Sensor ID # written on the sensor. With our tool you can manually input the Sensor ID# and you end up with a cloned sensor with no Relearn necessary.

Answer15 : The antenna is located where the signal indicator is printed on the tool.
Question16 : There are 2 signal indicators printed on the tool; does that mean either side works?
Answer16 : Yes you can use either side of the tool to Trigger/Scan the sensors.
Question17 : Will the Sensor-AID tool program any sensors?
Answer17 : No… sensor-AID will only program the CUB uni-sensor; it will not program other sensors (i.e. O.E. sensors)
Question18 : How many sensors does the uni-sensor have?
Answer18 : Just 2 sensors, 315MHz and 433Mhz
Question19 : How many Vehicles does the uni-sensor cover?

Question20 : How many times can I program a uni-sensor?
Answer20 : You can program the uni-sensor up to 100,000 times. This is a big advantage for any customer.
Question21 : How long is the Battery life on Uni-sensor?
Answer21 : Normally the battery is good for 5 to 7 year, however the battery may vary between protocols and weather conditions.
